For each of the five field trips that we take, you’ll do a related curation. Some are very open, others will have more specific parameters. You should either place your collection within one link (for example, if you’re collecting photography and you pin them all on a pinterest board, share just that one link), OR, list any individual links on your sheet if it’s not possible to collect them all into one place.
Curation #1 (Music)
Look at this emotion wheel and curate three different playlists, each with at least 3 songs, based on three words that you chose:
Pick one word from the middle 7 emotions.
Pick one word from the second ring.
(must not be derivative of the first word)
Pick one word from the outer ring.
(must not be derivative of either of the
first two words).
Write an explanation for how you curated your lists and the differences between choosing words from different rings.
Curation #2 (Art)
Curate 5 visual things. A (very non-exhaustive!) list of ideas include any of the following, either personal or famous: paintings, photos, colors, statues, architecture, graffiti, landscapes, etc. - Anything that we need to see with our eyes. Write an explanation about your collection and your process of curating.
Curation #3 (Writing)
Curate 5 things about words/phrases that have resonated with you that you have come across by READING (not heard in movies/videos/etc.). Write an explanation about your collection and your process of curating.
Curation #4 (Film)
Curate 5 things pertaining to film (moving pictures/visuals). Write an explanation about your collection and your process of curating.
Curation #5 (Place)
Curate 5 things about a place in your life. This could be a real, physical place that you've lived in, visited, or spend time in. It could be how you envision your favorite fiction book to look like. It could be what you think your future workplace will look like. Write an explanation about why you chose that particular location and your process of its visual representation. Also take note of what makes up its values, people, etc. What makes this place or thought unlike any other place or thought? How does it differ?
